Borla Mufflers

Anybody running a Borla Muffler? I can't find much info on them and want something different than all the flowmasters that I hear in my area. I have decided on 2 brands. Borla vs. Magnaflow. I can't find any sound clips of the borla's though. I want to do a single inlet and dual outlet muffler that isn't too loud, stainless, and has a deep rumble. I've got an 08' sierra with a 5.3L. Please post any sound clips of borla mufflers if you got 'em. Part numbers would also be appreciated. I also need ideas on how to run the exhaust tips. Out the sides behind the tire or straight out the back. I want something a litte different and like the looks of the dual tips. Anybody have dual tips? Thanks for your help. I read the forum a lot but don't post much. I recently bought a gm performance intake and I want an exhaust system to go with it.

GMPP exhausts are made by Borla. I have the performance version (single side exit) and I love the sound but the AFM sound does bother me. Thought about just shutting it off when Justin comes back to DFW in September to solve that problem.

My dad has borla on his 1972 chevy truck. They sound great nice rumble. And at highway speeds sounds good can't hear it at all. Wot is the best you can wake up the dead. I'll Try to get a sound clip. Other then corsa it's the way to go.

Borla is a great muffler, just as good as Corsa which is also popular. I've not had one, but I know it sounds great on the 5.3. (friend had one) GM did/does use Borla and Corsa for their performance exhaust.

Can't go wrong with either one!

I have Borla on my '07 5.3. It sounds freakin' sweet. No sound clips, and don't know the part # (it was on the truck when I bought it). I get a lot of compliments on the sound. It's smooth and mellow, not raspy like Flowmasters.

Borla is alright

Not to hijack the thread but on my wife’s Yukon Denali the exhaust sounds really good and wondered if it had a Borla exhaust on it

I really love my borla muffler. It sounds great and has no drone whatsoever. It is a low rumble instead of the loud obnoxious sound of some mufflers. I got 1 in 2 out with a single side exit.

Brad, Do you know what kind of muffler it is? I heard a turbo xl on youtube on a titan that sounded pretty sweet. I'm thinking the turbo would have the same sound, just a little louder. Anybody know?
