Key Stuck In Ignition?

Hey guys,

 

Got a 1999 GMC Jimmy

 

Had stopped at a stop light. The car stalled and wouldn't turn back on. Turning the key did nothing - no engine lights, nothing, couldnt even use the caution lights to warn other cars =[. Tried jump starting but no luck. Tried wiggling the wheel to get the key to turn and it worked once, moved like 3 inches and it died again. Now the key is stuck in the ignition and the car is just sitting there.

 

Anyone ever have anything similar happen to them?

did you try really cranking the wheel hard (turning it and trying to pull key out while its turned)

 

This has happened to me in past and thats what ive done on other vehicles.

 

could be a sing of bad ignition cylinder i believe
