Allison Trans Cooler Lines

Are these lines covered under the drive train warranty? 06 2500 Duramax, I see alot of folks are having the same issues, they leak at the crimp. Thanks John

check with the dealer ,they run the labour code and they will say if its covered,it might be but checkk anyways ,no diag cost to you ,the advisor runs it thru the phone

I have an 06 Duramax as well. Lines were replaced before the 3 yr 36k mark, but now...I am on my own. (52,000 km). Look at your specific warranty....these lines are NOT covered under the 5 year powertrain....but ayou could talk a dealer into it if your just over the mark..

 

Next time,..keeping the old ones, haveing a hydraulic shop put on new flared and crimped hoses..the metal parts are still good. I am just waiting for the cold weather here for mine to go again.
