Intake Disassembly

I couldnt quite find this in the search and see if anyone here knows how this is down. Currently im cleaning up my parts to put on my new crate engine. The intake manifold has to be cleaned up and the inside of it is really dirty and gross. Any one know how to disassemble this intake so i clean everything on the inside? i got all the bolts removed on it but it will only lift up 1/4 of an inch. The intake is sitting on a table as we speak so its not on the engine

nevermind i got it. didnt wanna come off the o-ring so just had to force it more then i did before. could probably delete this thread meow

Well we got the engine fully assembley and couldnt happen to notice the dampner and front plate are different compared to my old engine. gonna need to order those in now or else my truck would have been done by tomorrow

What's wrong with the balance and timing chain cover off the old engine. It'll fit on the new.

the cover needs to be re-sealed and with mine u cant re-seal it or else i would. When you buy them the sealing is already built in to it, and with the dampner, the one on the new engine is smaller then my other one

So yours had the plastic chain cover.

yeah man and my old one has where the crank sensor hooks up to it, and the new one doesnt
