Brake pad friction coeffienct/ratings

I am trying to find the friction coefficient for a few brake pads but I am having no luck.

I am trying to find the ratings for the Hawk LTS pads and the AC Delco Durastops. I have the rating for the Wagners (called them up and they gave it to me right away). I have contacted both Hawk and AC Delco directly and they said they don't have that information available. I even tried Tire Rack for the Hawk pads with no luck.

I might check with Autoanything to see if they have the information on the Hawk pads because I really don't want to take my brakes apart just to find that information since it should be stamped somewhere on the outside of the pad.

Does anybody know the friction rating for the Hawk LTS pads?

Is that really commonly stamped on pads? I've never heard of someone asking for that.

It's supposed to be. I thought I read somewhere that all brakes sold in the US must have this stamped on the pads.

I found that the Akebono ProACT and Wagner Thermoquiets are FF. Still trying to find out what the Duralasts are.

Anybody know?

I have the PROActs on my truck

How do you like the Akebonos?

I found out that the Hawks are a FF rating. I would have thought they would have been greater. Kinda disappointing if you ask me though. They are supposed to be a performance pad but yet the have the same friction rating as the Wagners and Akebonos with the only difference being that they are Ferro-Carbon and the others are Ceramic. I assume the Durastops are FF as well.

If the Hawks keep giving me problems I'll go with either the Akebonos or the Durastops and keep my slotted rotors since I can get pretty much the same performance but with much less dust and noise. Just trying to find out of the Durastops have chamfered edges.

I like them, I do get them hot and have not had performance issues with them "warmed up". Almost no dust and I have drilled and slotted rotors on the front.

How are they as far as noise goes, especially with the slotted/drilled rotors?

I'll probably go with the Akebono up front and the Durastops for the drums since they need to be replaced soon anyways.

I'm trying to find the friction ratings for the OES and Durastop pads to compare. I know the Durastops are Ceramic but not sure on the OES pads. Rockauto doesn't say. If they OES are that much better than the Durastops I might get them but only if they are ceramic. I would assume their friction ratings are the same though.

They are pretty quiet
