The best solution I could think of without sacrificing the limited single cab storage or drilling holes was to hang the radio on the center child seat anchor using one of those 3M Command hooks. My only gripe is it's a bit awkward twisting around if I have to change settings on the radio. Eventually I'll find a better solution lol.2 points

Sounds good. I've put it off long enough, I might get it done this weekend before I get busy at work (:1 point

I've got it running through the doorframe for now. Eventually, I'm going to run it through one of the drains in the floor and seal it up good.1 point

Until they figure out a way to enlarge the evap, or add and 2nd smaller evap, I'd remove sunroofs and add the option to add headliner a/c & heat like the SUV's with a 2nd blower motor, its moot!. The center A/C vents really don't due much anyways. My 2016 can cool the cabin down quick, even without the help of rear floor vents. BTW the 2007.5+ & 2014+ have rear vents they are under seats, and they are not insulated, nor was the GMT 800 trucks that hand console air vents. 2014+ rear seat tubes/vents feed under the seats and the contact the floor directly hot sheet metal... lol. I sound deadened my truck, I can tell you its much improved the heating and cooling of my truck, over tiny little vents on any center console. I am at work in a meeting, I will post pics later of my install showing the rear vents on my 2016. Pictures added in next post, the 2007.5 to 2018 Crew Cabs (minus base or work trucks) had this rear vent.1 point

Got my heated wheel installed yesterday, thanks to the video tutorial on here and a big thanks to @pgamboa who helped with some technical questions and made me a wiring harness. I have a 2016 LTZ that had the factory heated wheel plug under the dash (steering column) but it was not live. pgamboa made me a harness to connect from the X51L block to the X203 block that worked perfectly. Now that it is installed, it's great having a warm wheel on these cold Nebraska mornings. I will say, I do actually prefer the texture of the non-heated leather wheel vs. the texture of the heated one, but am glad to have the heat. I do now have a non-heated leather wheel and the accompanying clock spring for sale if anyone is looking ;)1 point

So...... I've resisted this location for quite some time for just that reason. But.... I realized the other day it was really just a garbage can with all the crap that was in there! That storage space is still accessible, the hole is just a little smaller is all. The eye glasses holder is pretty much useless too.... That's not a bad idea to utilize that space as well. For a gun belt, Simply Rugged Holsters makes a nice belt. I have both the 1.5 inch and 1.75 inch wide...the right belt is a key component. Steve 2012 2500hd 6.0l1 point

Sorry I had not tried any off brands. I've had my current one since Sept and have used it close to a couple dozen times already. Works great. Good luck with whatever you decide.1 point

Ya that's what I was thinking. I wonder where we'd start to find the puddle lamps? I have some tow mirrors now, they have heat and folding, but the only thing they didn't come with was the puddle that I wanted. I couldn't pass up the price1 point

Removed the final lower bumper piece. Cut some of the brackets off and flipped the bolts around so they aren't sticking down. Didn't have time to cut off those ridiculous frame horns, so that is on the back burner for the time being. Next up skid plates!1 point

The sad part most of those people there could probably care les about pickup trucks Also I felt like I was in the Blair Witch project video. Jeez to much to ask for a higher quality video?1 point

Kinda funny to say it effects a small amount of people in the same post as referencing an 800 page thread Not sure where you guys came up with this small number of people thing1 point

Is this a serious post?? Have you not read through the nearly 800 pages of this thread? I can sum it up for you. Tires re-balanced fix alot of them, some get the rear end replaced and it helps, some the vibes go away over time others they get worse over time. This effects a very small amount of people who own these trucks (me being one of them). Your options are 1) try everything that has been discussed in these 800 pages 2) trade your truck in on another GM or a different brand 3) live with it. This may sound blunt but that is how it is. Go to another brand truck forum and look under their "issues" thread and you will find problems there as well.1 point
