  7. Just completed DL3 to DQS upgrade. I had made a few attempts at local Chevy dealerships to obtain necessary parts but was dealt all sorts of bad information. A few private messages to Phil @pgamboa and I was all dialed in. Purchased harness from Phil and mirrors from GM parts supplier he recommended. Phil even went one step further and modified the harness further for future work I have planned. Harnesses arrived within a couple days, and mirrors shortly after. Followed Phil's youtube install and things went flawlessly. Phil's knowledge of all things related to wiring were extremely helpful. Glad I found this forum and this thread before I made the mistake of going with misinformed dealers. 2017 2500 LTZ process purchase Phil's harness and OEM DQS mirror swap out factory harness for Phil's modified harness - simple, follow youtube video. install DQS mirrors test and button things up Everything worked as expected. Power fold, seat memory, power mirrors, turn signals, heated mirrors, all lighting. No error codes. Love the mirrors, couldn't be happier with the results.

  10. Rush hour traffic in Atlanta getting on the freeway, any witness was gone 5 seconds later. Damage is on the front of her car and the side of mine, she says I turned into her. Physically no way that can happen, can only hope the adjuster can prove it. Trying to get traffic cam footage or statement from fire rescue unit as to the location of the vehicles before they had us move out of traffic, but officer hasn't called me back. Adjuster said all that has to go through the officer, so I doubt it'll get anywhere. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  11. Sorry, looks like after reading back through this thread, if I wanted even a lower drop in the back, I should have stayed with my stock hangers. I'm wondering if a shackle will get me my 1'' I'm looking for. Anyone run that kind of setup?

  12. So I found the correct pins, but dang if couldn't find a diode anywhere within a 30 miles of my place, so I'll have to order some. I did try it out with a jumper wire and the theory works, just need a diode so I can get it to work how I want. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk

  18. An update, for all of you chasing this problem, think it's safe to say nobody has spent more time/money on trying to fix this. Attempts to fix: Aftermarket drive shaft Yukon axels Yukon lsd New ring and pinions (3 sets) 4 different shocks (stock, belltech, mcgaughys, qa1 adjustables) 3 sets of wheels and tires (two factory, one forged aftermarket) Every set were balanced at least three times Leaf spring clamps Brake rotors on all four corners, twice in the rear Full conversion to 4 link rear suspension Solution: none of this worked Problem still exists in the 65-70 range, I haven't put the EVA back on it since I did the four link but before the frequency on the vibration indicated that the vibration was a wheel speed vibration so potential culprits had to be wheels, tires, axles, carrier, spindles, brakes, anything that rotates at wheel speed. For that reason I didn't expect the four link to resolve the issue, other than maybe the added crossmember might alleviate any frame beaming, which isn't actually an issue based on the vibration frequency. Since the rear conversion I'm now going to spend some more time focusing on the front, make sure nothing is out of round up there. Still convinced there is a silver bullet that will put this to rest, dammed if I won't find it. Good luck everyone!

  20. Actually, you are missing the point. I also have never had a leak in over 30 years of driving. They all dont leak. A pano roof is a chick option - nut up and be happy with a rectangle which is plenty vitamin D for a dude... Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

  23. Were you able to retain the steering wheel controls? Also, can you wire it up to think you’re in park? I used to do that on a lot of pioneer in-dash systems, easy fix to have full access to everything while moving. I wasn’t sure if that’s even a possibility in today’s world haha.
