I installed the Eibach 2.0 Pro kit on my 2019 with Cognito UCA's and Trail Boss axles and the ride is way better than stock. Not to soft and I don't bottom out going over speed bumps like with the stock set up. I think you will like the Eibachs.3 points

I've had this installed for about 5 months. It's head and shoulders above my Linkswell 5. Now, if I could only find my old XM radio connector for the stock HMI, I'd be even happier (the installer for the Linkswell placed it in a place I can't find it). I installed this one myself and it was, literally, plug and play, once I got the Linkswell out and reconnected the HMI, and reconnected everything (except the aforementioned XM radio connector).3 points

11/25/2023 2021 Ram 20671 total miles, 2864 on this OCI. 7 QTs HPL Super Car 5w40 out and in. Fram Endurance filter. Apparently similar if not the same as the Royal Purple and Amsoil but at a WalMart price. Curious.2 points

I'll let ya know on the Eibach's as soon as I have them installed. Will likely be Christmas. I thought about Fox several times. Especially with the linear valving and talk of the soft ride. There was also mention of body roll and maybe being a little too soft. Things to also note about the Fox 2.0s. Aluminum body aids in corrosion resistance but they have to be taken off the vehicle to be adjusted. Fox is rebuildable and serviceable, Eibach isn't. Though Fox recommends rebuilding around 40k or so, and has a one year warranty. Eibach has a limited lifetime warranty and can be adjusted on the truck. Basically I had been reading and going back and forth between Bilstein 6112s, Fox 2.0s, Dirt King 2.0s (soon to be announced), and Eibach. Seems Eibach is relatively new to the the LT market but makes everyone's springs. Across the board i've read nothing but fantastic reivews, then came across shock surplus' video with 3-4 of their employees currently running eibach and basically stating it's right between bilstein and Fox. Not too soft, not too firm, just right. One employee claimed it was the best 2.0 on the market. So with black friday I was sold.2 points

It is the Autoteccpro 14.4" head unit - really, just plug and play from a stock setup. https://autotecpro.com/product/chevrolet-silverado-gmc-sierra-14-4-ips-qhd-2k-touch-screen-navigation-infotainment-system-android-11-gps-bt-wifi-carplay-onstar-4g-lte/?v=e4b09f3f84021 point

I had bad starter in my last 2017 LT and it would do NOTHING when it went. No clicks. No turn over. No remote start. Nada. Had battery tested and was good and full charge. All connections looked good, solid and clean. Replaced starter. Worked like a champ again.1 point

Hey, you don’t have to talk about me like I’m not here, or that I’m too dumb to interpret what’s going on with my 6.2. I take everything in from everyone and make the calls for myself at the end of the day. Iron is slightly higher than Blackstone’s historical average (which is just that, an average). And your professional suggestion is what? Prepare for a warranty claim and just let it go? Really? You don’t even know how I drive the thing and you’re convinced that it’s ready to blow even though iron is trending down on every subsequent test. Maybe your tribological experience would know better, but I would think that an engine eating a cam or lifters would be getting worse as time wore on, not improving. For what it’s worth, I have gathered 27 UOAs from this engine/ platform. I’ve seen everything there is to see at this point, and talked to real experts at Red Line and HPL too. I’ve neither seen nor heard anything to make me as concerned as you apparently are.1 point

No problem. Did a test. Took the right rear tire from 60.0 psi to 80.0 psi this morning. It took 3min 45sec. The unit didn’t get hot. Used a freshly charged M18 6Ah battery, didn’t even drop a bar in power (which surprised me). I keep 2, M18 6Ah batteries in my truck to cover this inflator and the big work light that I carry.1 point

Thanks! I'd be interested in your first impressions of the eibach. They sound like the better choice.1 point

My 2 cents. Both of you post stuff that the general public either doesn't understand or isn't willing to take the time to try to understand it. Or they just don't care, most of the forum members IMO. You two try to prove who's right or the smartest when it really doesn't matter because no one cares. While I will acknowledge your knowledge what does it matter if it's ignored by most forum members. Nobody wants to read a short story to get the answer to a question especially if you don't understand the story. If you two could put your egos aside and work together your input could be a big asset. My way of thinking is there are millions of vehicles using off the shelf oils or dealer bulk oil with varied OCI's doing just fine. Simply changing the oil works and the intervals is a personal choice. I pick my battles and they are few because most aren't worth my time. I'm sorry to be so blunt.1 point

Next time it won't start, try tapping it lightly with a steel rod or what you have handy. Also, check you body grounds. Remove, clean & tighten with dome dielectric grease to protect them. If your starter starts after tapping it, you'll need a new started. Been there done it. How many miles? Which engine?1 point

Oh OK. I have the 1500s now and looking for replacements I have heard of the fox shocks. Look into those. Thanks!1 point

3 common dead truck issues on these are bad starters, bad battery and bad battery cables (high resistance in the cables).1 point

one of two things, diodes have shorted in the alternator or check wiring at the starter to see if it is shorting out on the heat shield, possible the starter is gone1 point

I replaced the condenser in my 15 in about 2017 or so. I was just out of warranty by miles. GM dealer was going to get me some assistance, but it was July, on a Friday, and it wouldn't be done until the next Tuesday or Wednesday. So I got one from Autozone on the way home, put it in myself that evening. About an hour. Took it to one of my dealerships I do work for, (I'm a vendor for many dealers around here) and had it charged by one of the techs next morning, been working ever since. Lasted a lot longer than the factory one, for sure.1 point
