Not trying to troll here but to be realistic, yeah software updates won't fix cheap hardware issues like budget cameras and low resolution infotainment screens.. Like i said in other post here, i bet anything the infotainment setups in the 2019's are the same tech only with refreshed software ui's as the one in my 2014 when they started putting them in these trucks. That's why people here like me with 14 and up models are disappointed to see the same shortcomings with the 14-18 models present again in the 19's! This setup should of been completely revamped for the 19's and made to compete with the now tesla style setup the competition has.

I'm willing to bet hardware wise that infotainment setup is the same exact one i have in my 2014. Keep adding onto older gen tech and it's bound to give issues. That looks more like a internal graphical glitch then it being a faulty ground.

LMAO what thell does back seat vents have to do with eliminating something that probably cost GM 3 dollars per truck? My 14 has illuminated vanity mirrors and so shouldn't this new supposedly better version!

Color matched is definitely the way to go with today's trucks, too much chrome just ruins the look of these trucks imo.

I wish i had that trouble with people pissed off and flashing my awesome headlights. Instead i have a 2014 with headlights that can barley illuminate 10 feet in front of my truck!

Just my opinion but the stock rims look much better then what you are looking to buy.

I have seen plenty towing and hauling which is what these trucks are made to do, imo trucks are built so flimsy today that your nuts abusing them like that, too expensive and big to fit down trails.

Your talking about the xb's fogs? If so sorry for the confusion I already have them, and was talking about more like drooling over the 16-17 Denali headlight conversion to the 14-15 models.

Even at full price i would say the morimoto xb's are worth the price especially considering the ten year warranty they come with. Once again i know i asked you before but looks like newer harnesses have been made available but other then the denali lights what would i need to buy and does everything work as intended? Also what does it take for the tail light mod if you dont mind answering? Thanks,

Yes it should be covered under the 3/36 factory warranty.

Same noise here and my dealer claims it to be the fuel pump. Still it sounds like a 1986 Ford Taurus with a bad steering pump, annoying as hell imo.

So want to do this mod but gen 5 just basically doubled their price on the assembles to well over 2 grand! Of course you can find them on ebay but the majority are damaged and ones that say are in good shape have terms like "Sold as is" with the seller stressing to look over the pictures because they are what they are. Not very reassuring considering you are stuck once you purchase them.

I have driven for over 25 years now and have never once had a engine light flip on because i failed to tighten a gas cap. The real reason for this is imo... gas cap =.25 cents give or take per vehicle x 500,000-800,000 per year! You do this to every model you make and your talking a large amount of money saved. Same reason why we no longer get under hood lighting or a ash tray and a cig lighter. All things that add up to major amounts of revenue when you produce major volume like the big 3 truck lines do.

So does this conversion work or does it work with issues? Was thinking of doing this mod but for nearly 2 grand when it's all said and done they would need to work like factory for me to make the plunge.

Same here, sounds like a ford power steering whine issue but not as loud. My dealer continues to tell me it's the fuel pump, not sure i am buying that excuse though.

A tech at my dealer a few months ago stated those motor mounts are the true reason for the odd tunes that these trucks come loaded with. He says that gm was having issues with the mounts basically snapping off the frame, and is the true reason for the detuned feeling in our engines and horrible shift patterns. Whether that has any truth to it i don't know but it sounds plausible imo.

How much does this mod cost with a 14 all terrain? Lights look great by the way.

Even worse is they gave Bara a 72% raise to the tune of 28 million dollars for the 2015 year. Lower quality non american part content and Mexicans doing the assembly is doing wonders for the portfolios of GM executives..

More info on this mod please, didn't realize the strips on the top and bottom can be replaced with a better setup.
