    Welcome to the site. How many miles, do you know the service history of the truck? More than likely, it is your transmission, maybe torque converter. Lots of posts on the site about both, and the characteristics they both display when there is a problem.

    Not trying to stir the pot, but with the amount of time you have spent on the site, looking at others problems, and success stories, do you think you will be happy with the truck? Have you had a chance to drive something similar to what you are buying?

    Life is pretty short. Lots of things that will always be out of your hands. Ownership of a vehicle is something that you can control, buy something that you like, no one will judge you for jumping camp if you do not like your truck. Finding others with the same mindset will never solve the problems you are having, move on and enjoy your day rather than hating what you drive. I personally like my 18, been a very solid truck, so far, completely different story with the 14, and 16 I had though.

    Looks like the dealers did not learn much after they "hacked" up everyone's seat belt on the recall of the 14's.

    Sad part is someone there feels that is an expectable way to return your truck to you. Professional work should be done to standards to where you can not even tell it was done. Just to be proactive, you might want to let GM know ahead of time what has happened. If you have a good relationship with the dealer, work with them first, just so they don't get blindsided, but that work speaks volumes about the integrity of their employees.

    Congratulations on your new to you truck, and welcome to the site! The trucks can be a little on the high side when it comes to gas (cost to drive), but the extra size and capabilities are worth it. How are the roads there? If they are as bad as Washington state, you made the right choice with a 4WD truck.

    Not interested in the emblem's, but I like the quartz countertops, very similar color to what we have in our house.

    Did not notice you in the second picture, just saw a bunch of footprints going back and forth. Snow does the same thing for the Seattle area, just shuts down the whole area. Funny thing is we have the Cascade mountain range just 1.5 hours away with a ton of snow, and still no one can drive in it when it hits sea level.

    Guarantee you van is a 2WD, and they do not see snow that often, so heavy right foot equals no go.

    I am most impressed with the fact the Amazon driver was OK just sitting there while he took pictures from multiple spots, I know he does get paid by the hour, but.....

    So, not trying to start a S storm (never happens here as long as you use Amsoil), but why do so many GM (all) dealers use the flush system if it is so bad for the transmission? If it can be directly linked to failures, why would they continue to use this as a service method?

    Welcome to the site. Going to be kidding when I say this, but light it on fire (somewhere safe, out in the woods) and collect the insurance money and buy yourself a GM truck. All problems will be solved in your life.....
