  1. Not Gatorbacks but I just installed a set of Duraflaps, they are great and very easy to install. They are kinda pricy but so are gatorbacks I guess. Worth a look you can get them in different sizes and art on the weights.
  2. I've been looking for a long time for good long flaps and thinking of going with the Duraflaps. They are pricy though!! Anybody have them or know of anybody with them?
  3. I did this with my 2019 HD and had no problem worked great for 3 years. I'm going to do it to my 2022 very soon.
  4. I have the exact same issue on passenger side also, It started right after I brought it home. Its on the list for them to check at the next oil change. Ill post back if they find anything.
  5. There is no shortage of DEF in North America. I work for the worlds largest producer of DEF and its in the US/Canada. All our plants are running and I have not heard of any issues with supply chains. The biggest problem is finding drivers to deliver it to bottling plants nobody want to work and there is a shortage of drivers.
  6. Very true, there is no mechanical connection at all. It only take 5hp to move one a full loaded rail car so it would not take much to pull those cars. I think it was Dodge that did that stunt originally I think with the Dakota.
  7. You can get the wire harness from GM to put the 7 way in your box its pretty easy just like factory. It maintains the bumper 7 way too.
  8. I have the Reese goose box and love it!!! It frees up the bed and takes out weight. I will not go back to the standard 5th wheel hitch.
  9. I just ordered a 2022 HD but my dealer is telling me it will probably be a 2023 by time it gets built! I'm not sure if the refresh will hit the HD trucks by then and what the price will be but ill take the gamble!
  10. I've heard a lot of good things about them but they aren't snow rated which I need here. They will be perfect for Texas I'm sure! I like the looks of them too!
  11. Thanks for the reply, I really like Toyo and had good luck with them in the past but I've never had an HD truck before this one. I would like to try the AT3's but i have not heard how they are in snow yet and that's important for me being in Canada. I thought about a commercial tire but they just don't look cool! lol I was to the Falkin wild peaks were good for HD trucks but they are not popular around my area.
  12. I didn't want to start another tire thread so here's my question, I put BFG all terrains on my 3500 DD and I'm only at 60K KM and they are just about shot!! I was told at a off road shop that they would not sell these tires to a HD truck because they wear out fast, does this sound realistic?? I had them on my half ton and they lasted 100K KM. I tow a 5th wheel and some off road but nothing major, Mostly hwy driving to work but I want the looks too! lol
  13. Looks great!! I was just at a 4 wheel drive shop here and they told me they don't recommend BFG 2Ko's for heavy trucks due to wearing out fast. Not sure if this is true but mine are wearing very fast. Not sure what to go with next but defiantly looking at your size! How have they held up?
  14. They should, they worked on my 1500 leveled truck. I'm buying a set for my 3500 now too but its not leveled.
  15. I've seen many kits for sale to re locate your PCV from the intake to the ground as to not contaminate your intake with build up. My question is do Diesels need the little bit of negative pressure in the crank case to help the rings seal? I know with gas engines its a good thing but not sure with my diesel. These kits are a lot of money and can be easily made for cheap!!
  16. I don't know why somebody doesn't manufacture these! I see lots of Chevy ones and ford ones lit up around here but nothing available for GMC. I'm sure they would sell a lot of them!
  17. Were they plug and play for the pick ups or was there some wiring to do?
  18. When I bought my 2019 L5P I did not get a winter cover for the front grill, are these still needed anymore for these engines? I live in southern Canada were it does get cold but not to bad. Not sure if this is just something for the older diesels. Thanks!
  19. I have a 2019 3500 Denali SRW and I don't have hill decent on mine. Also correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the exhaust brake is at all like the "Jake brake" I think it only down shifts the trans and uses the engines compression to slow down. I think they just gave us advanced down shifting and marketed it as an "exhaust brake"
  20. I also just bought a 2019 3500 and am thinking of going with the MVI camera system. You can look them up on Utube. I just want the bed camera for hooking up the fifth wheel.
  21. I'm totally new to the Duramax world and diesels for that matter. Do you really need these fuel conditioners for cold temps or are they just snake oil? I live in Canada and it get to -30C some times. I think I will plug in once GM finds a fix for their block heaters.
  22. I have the same issue so I just fold my mirrors in when I park.
  23. Can you order these new? I'm looking for a 2016 red Canadian cluster these might be hard to find.
  24. Will this work in a 2016 sierra SLT I'm in Canada, can you pm me with the price and details please if still available?
