    I disabled the “Change with buttons” as noted and it no longer changes the ringer. Iphone7 if that makes a difference.

    Yeah I set the max startup volume to 0, and that combined with the other options has resolved my issues. Thanks for all the solutions. Always something to learn on these trucks.

    That turns off the entire infotainment system. I now do that sometimes or turn the volume down when I turn the truck off.

    I noticed that also. I have to double check but I did see somethong in the manual that this happens.

    Yeah, that what I am doing. I get the fact that it is an infotainment system and therefore can shut pieces of it down. I will look into setting the startup volume at 0. Thanks everyone. My previous car simply had a radio so new to the whole infotainment experience.

    If I put it to mute, that is fine until I shut the truck off. When I turn the truck back on, it is no longer muted and I have to mute it again. Sometimes it is nice just to ride with no radio and drive in peace and quiet. My solution is now just to have the volume at is lowest when I turn truck off.

    Thanks, That matches the info I have found. I can’ t believe that is the only way to turn it off. Other than that I am loving it.

    I have a 2019 LTZ with the upgraded infotainment system and must be missing something. When I got the vehicle the infotainment screen could be on without the radio. I hit the radio buttons and setup my presets, then tried to turn radio off. I can only mute it or turn the entire infotainment system off. Is there anyway to turn the radio off and still have the system up? I have gone thru all the manuals and can find nothing. I can’t believe it can’t be turned off. Am I missing something or is that the way it functions?

    Ordered mine on 11/7, TPW was 12/32. Truck was built and waiting on carrier on 1/8. Truck wad delivered to dealer 1/23 and I picked it up 1/24. I am in NJ.

    Have you tried talking to your dealer? They probably will be your best bet.

    Got delivered yesterday and picked it up tonight. Will post better pics if I can get good shot tomorrow. LTZ with 6.2 and Z71 package. 50 miles on it so far and love it! Was built and shipped 1/8.

    I was not aware of this undesirable feature. Sounds like neutral with parking brake and wheels chocked is only option. I hate having Big Brother tell me how long my car can idle.

    I am waiting for mine to be delivered. I was told it was in transit on 1/8 and to get info from the dealer. It was added to the dealers inventory by the GM System but they have no idea when it will arrive or where it is. Hopefully it will be soon.

    Good luck hope they find it. I was looking for a certain combo at the beginning of November. The dealer found 3 of them, but none of the dealers would do the trade, so I ended up ordering and waiting now for it to be delivered to dealer. I guess because it was early and a 6.2, dealers wanted to keep them on their lot.

    I think it looks better without a big decal on the back of the truck. I don’t really see the need for one.
