I don’t have a dongle device or anything like that. But I have seen some dongles that can trick the truckOS into thinking it’s an android and therefore getting full screen CarPlay. This seems an awful a lot of work. What are the benefits to doing this than those dongles that can trick being android ?
So would standard airlift airbags fit just fine? On their website their fine print says:
WILL NOT FIT COMMERCIAL CHASSIS VEHICLES. WILL NOT FIT ZR2 OR AT4X MODELS. Fits puck style 5th wheel & gooseneck hitch mounts, may not work with frame side-mounted hitches - review installation manual for reference
Thank you for helping me clarify this!
Hey brother, Could you give me some insight on that leather heated seats and front camera? For seats: how are they wired, pics of switch placement and such, where you buy the front camera and is it “oem look” and function.
thanks
I been too lazy to make my own harness and can’t find the pin connector to make it either. I also installed the infotainment system so I already have wireless CarPlay
I bought harness #10 to try add USB to center but you still need power. I’m thinking rather than source this harness that may or may not be under the passenger seat just maybe tap into the plug from the dash
My truck came with usb c and usb b from factory and trying to find this harness that goes up to the console so I can add wireless CarPlay and hide the dongle in the center console. Has anyone found Y harness part #
Have you gotten your issue figured out? What if you get your BCM programmed so it can recognize the LED DRL in the new headlight? Or is there a way we can make this harness ourself? Kinda ridiculous paying $350 (now price) for this harness from gen5
