  1. Haven’t seen one like this yet. Very nice! Those OEM 22’s? GM catback exhaust?
  2. I’ve pressure washed my RST 3x now, and it’s been thru some harsh, heavy rainstorms as well. No leaking issues, thank God. Mine was built 1 Feb 2019, tho. (Fort Wayne plant)
  3. GM will have to take a hard look at their 20% profit margins on their trucks if RAM continues to eat their market share, as it has this Q1. Either match the tech for a small MSRP jump or let RAM keep undercutting you with better pricing for better tech.
  4. Yeah, not getting the 2-speed transfer case unless you get Z71 is a strange trim adjustment. And adding on top that you cannot get a max tow with Z71 really hems buyers into packages many do not want. Strange.
  5. Haven't seen a lot of other Satin Steel Silverados posted on this forum. I have SS RST, which I think looks excellent. But your TB makes me jealous. I love the black front end on there with the SS.
  6. WOW. You are going to be in heaven. My dad's 2000 Dakota Sport single cab is like driving a go-kart with the V8 in that little beast.
  7. My RST Z71 rides incredibly smooth. Sure, harsh road bumps and speed bumps at low speeds cause a bit of bounce and harsh recovery, but this is a truck, not a Range Rover with an electronically-tuned suspension. ;) I upgraded from a 2007 LT Crew. To me, the 2019 RST rides and handles like a sports car with the ride of a luxury SUV. It's hard to believe I'm driving a 1/2 ton truck at times.
  8. I got 5.4% on 60 months with GMAC. I was going to pay cash for my 2019 RST, but took the $1500 rebate. Local dealer told me to wait 4 months, then pay it off. My only concern would be to somehow lose the rebate by paying it off sooner.
  9. 2019 RST Z71 with All-Star, Convenience II, etc. $53,875 MSRP $43,660 + tax, etc. is what I paid. Very pleased.
  10. newdude covers this spot on. Depends not just on Z71 trim, but wheel size, etc. My RST Z71 with 20"s came with the Wrangler A/T. Most of the RSTs with 20"s I've seen on lots, however, have the Dueller. Who knows how GM decides which one gets which. I'm already looking forward to replacing them with Michelin LTX M/S2's, to be honest. Can't beat that tire, and probably has just as good of "off road" performance as the Wrangler ATs does. At least for the amount of "off-roading" I do... which is next to none. Lol
  11. One thing I've been noticing, after a few weeks of driving my RST... The increased height of the bed has not really stuck out to me that much... until I started noticing how small my FOV out of the rear window is. The tailgate really eats up a lot more space than my 2007 did. You don't see quite as much of the road. Not really a complaint, just something I finally noticed this AM when I looked out the rear window via rear-view mirror to see if I had accidentally driven over something on the road.
  12. I actually just leave mine up. I don't find that they are that obtrusive, personally.
  13. I definitely agree on the visibility in this truck. Looking over my right shoulder through the rear-right of the cab... it is so much less obstructed than my 2007. I feel like I can really see out of the truck easily, and there are many fewer blind spots.
  14. No, this is different. I set my electric parking brake every night, as my driveway is an incline. (One of the new features I LOVE, btw.) So after I start the truck, I turn off the brake and hear it disengage. The noise mentioned in the thread above is different, and it does sound like the fuel pump. Just more... jet-like, ha!
  15. The white looks great. It really makes the fantastic body lines on the T1 pop!
  16. Same here. 700 miles on my 5.3 8sp RST Z71. Upgraded from a 2007 LT Crew, so the ride and drive are an exponential improvement. I have not experienced any vibration or oddities so far. When I first got it, I did feel like the shift from 1-2 was a little abrupt in the mornings when the truck was cold. But I have since come to realize I was babying the accelerator a little much, which was causing that harsh shifting feeling. I had to adjust my foot from its 12-year habits of driving a 4 speed w/OD! ? I’ve noticed that the 8 speed really works so smoothly when you put it to work. Not mashing on the gas, but just driving it like normal. It’s a GREAT power train, IMO.
  17. I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/KEYO1E-Antenna-Compatible-Silverado-2007-2019/dp/B07MJB9BY7/ref=sr_1_20?crid=3SNHZJTGJ8N2E&keywords=short+antenna&qid=1554148591&s=electronics&sprefix=short+antenn%2Celectronics%2C147&sr=1-20 No reception loss at all... but I live in the heart of Dallas-Fort Worth, so I'm not a good data point on that. Others have bought this one, which is .8" shorter than mine (linked above): https://www.amazon.com/RONIN-FACTORY-Silverado-Anti-Theft-Replacement/dp/B079KXLF57/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3SNHZJTGJ8N2E&keywords=short+antenna&qid=1554148591&s=electronics&sprefix=short+antenn%2Celectronics%2C147&sr=1-1-spons&psc=1
  18. I do think that's the only thing I don't like about the new exterior. I wish it was back on the back, upper bed under the rail like it used to be... where the 4x4 is now. Kind of odd to have it on the front upper fender.
  19. There were only 3 RST Z71s with Convenience I & II within a 500 mile range of me in DFW. My dealer found this one outside San Antonio. So, yeah, the Satin Steel is hard to find. It's an awesome color because of how it can “morph” in shade and sun. So yeah, it can look sometimes slightly blueish in the shade - like my initial picture. But here are some in the direct sun...
  20. Anyone know what the sound is on the driver's side, underbody, close to where the cab and box meet... whenever you stand at the driver's door and push the button to unlock it? Almost sounds like the old fuel pump coming on noise when you would turn the key over before cranking the ignition.
  21. Drove this RST Z71 home tonight. 140 miles to go get it, so I got a great first drive home. Love the ride and new features. Upgraded from my 2007 LT2 crew. Really loving this Satin Steel Metallic. All the sales guys were coveting my truck. Lol
  22. Looks fantastic, wow. Which shorter antenna did you put on there? I love the size.
