No problem. If it helps the transmission never overheated. Ever. Highest temp I ever saw was 200f in the middle of summer. So I think we can rule out over heating. Even when it failed (drove home in third so tc wouldn’t lock up) it still wasn’t hot. So mechanical failure would be most likely. The reman front pump I believe was built with a different valve. My guy said he hasn’t had a return issue in dozens of rebuilds. Mom and pop shop. His dad was rebuilding powerglides and other 50s and 60s transmissions. For me he rebuilt an old Chrysler intrepid fwd, 2004R, powerglide, 6L80e, 4L60E and a 700R4 and I haven’t had to go back for any. Really good shops around here are few so I’m glad I found one close by. But yes 90K regular service since I didn’t do much severe duty stuff like towing or off roading.
