So let me clarify some. At least on my '16 Sierra it did. I never had issues with my LED reverse bulbs but did with the license plate bulbs. Nothing showed on the dash, but my monthly Onstar report had one exclamation. Every month it said license plate bulbs need attention. It never bothered me and paid it no mind. When I brought it in for a service bulletin, the tech showed me a ****** ton codes on the license plate bulbs. I wouldn't have thought. The BCM picks it up the error as not having enough resistance and reads it as the bulbs are burnt. I guess it's the same as those who change turn signals to LED and get hyper flashing. It acts like a bulb is burnt. Canbus free would correct it or inline resistors would be the solution for turns. Maybe something has changed on the T1 IDK.
