Anyone know where I can get a replacement rear bumper for a GMT900 truck? I don't want to pay the dealership prices and I can't find a salvage yard around here with one.

I haven't seen any aftermarket ones that look anything like the factory bumper. Dealer parts counter only so far. There are some aftermarket heavy duty bumpers available but most are black "Ranch Hand" looking items.

I haven't seen any aftermarket ones that look anything like the factory bumper. Dealer parts counter only so far. There are some aftermarket heavy duty bumpers available but most are black "Ranch Hand" looking items.

Right, I've seen those Ranch Hand ones and the like, but I don't want those. Just hoping maybe someone seen one on Craigslist or something.

Just had the geico adjuster look at mine this afternoon. replace right chrome piece with backup sensor, replace middle step plastic piece. 418.03....Idiot ran into me in a parking garage.

At least with the Ranch Hand bumper if some dumby backs into me the most I would be out is $3.95 for a can of black krylon.

Hard to argue with that much steel.

I would check with a place that installs the Ranch Hand bumpers for a stock replacement. I know that when they took my stock bumpers off they sent them to the junk yard. OBE now since you had the insurance pay for the fix.
