im looking at buying one lol...its got 35,500 miles and a small local dealer wants 6,990, but i will "jew" him down a little bit. but what do you think? i got a build sheet and it was a rental but it is covered till 100,010 for the power train, its a BRIGHT yellow car, has power windows and locks and everything. its VERY clean and looks nice i looked it very well.

i need something reliable cause im going to be going to school soon, for a couple years and i am going to be parking the truck in my parents heated garage and driving the car, i might end up selling the truck as well since after im done with school, i (should / and hopefully) will make more money and can buy a way nicer truck since thats the whole reason im going back to school is to get a few licenses / degrees and and make more money

What do we think???/ It's an Aveo...you can only think one way when it comes to an Aveo.

That being said, I guess it's OK if it keeps your truck looking as good as it does in your sig. It should be as reliable as the sunrise and get you great gas mileage. But yellow?

Funny story...my mom has a bright yellow Escape...which we found out after she bought it...is a very popular vehicle/color choice for the lesbians in either Madison or Milwaukee...I can't remember which.

I wonder if they'll cling to a yellow Aveo?

I think "Negotiate" or "Haggle" would be more appropriate.

The Aveo does not seem to be very reliable. I was looking at getting one,but there are tons of problems with them. Be sure to check out the common problems with the Aveo before buying it. You could probably spend that cash to upgrade your truck and make it last through school. Just my .02.

I am not a fan of former rental cars and thats just based on how I have used them :P I'd use the truck you have now. A lot can be fixed with that extra 7k or less you might have around

so im not getting that car anymore, its really a lot of money to spend and if i was going to spend that much money i would sell the truck and buy a brand new car..

so anyways im still going to get a car and my dads towing company has had a 2001 Chevy Malibu impounded for over a year, so we are trying to talk to the owner and see what they want to do with it, it was in a front end crash but everything is cosmetic and runs PERFECT like you wouldn't believe even with 1 yr old gas in the tank, the inside is Amazingly clean looks like somebody just detailed it, has 121000 miles and power everything with a sun roof, its also a 4 door everything works

im trying to get it for $500, it needs a new bumber, fender, hood, grille, headlights, and some of the metal needs to be unbent with a hammer and a wrecker cable :D.. i will know in the next couple days if i will get it or not, but even if i spend $1500 on it, it will pay itself off in less than 1 year

i also got a truck cover for my truck from my grandpa that used to store his truck in a garage when they went to there house in Florida every winter, he had a 96 ext cab short box so it should fit
