Oil Temperature Sensor

What's the best way to install an engine oil temperature sensor on the GMT900s? This guy has a good idea http://xse.com/leres/ss/gaugepod.html http://xse.com/leres/ss/images/cover-sm.html but the aluminum cover for the oil cooler on these trucks is different so that won't work too well.

I really would like to start monitoring the oil temp with my Aeroforce gauges when I get them and have been thinking about how to install a sensor for a while now but have yet to come up with a way to do so.

You had said something about an aluminum cooler, so I presumed you did. I guess you could weld a bung in the pan, and put the sensor in there. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. For the most part, oil temp will mirror coolant temp.
