Stick On Weights.

I had some BF all terrains put on my truck when I picked it up at the dealer and told them to use the stick on weights on my All Terrain rims. They must not have cleaned the rims because the weights are already starting to come off and they have only been on for 2.5 weeks now. Pisses me off. Back to the dealer this afternoon to have them fixed. My truck hasn't even been off road yet? Just don't want to have to keep getting my wheels balanced every month and don't want to put the regular weights on and mess up the rims.

Any thoughts ort experiences?

Another alternative might be able to have the 'static' balanced. Instead of using the stick on weights, they use conventional weights, but only on the inside of the rim, out of sight, and out of mind. Most balancing machines should have the capability to calculate the weight requirments for this.

I had the stick on weights for my 255 BFG MT's and never lost one in about 20K miles/4 yrs ?

I was told there are different quaility levels of stick ons too. But That s all I used on my MB s and never lost any. I d go with the theory of not being cleaned right.
