Rear End Clunk/rattle 09 Sierra

[Northern Sierra]

I have an 09 sierra Z71 and have just recently developed a clunk or rattle/ rubbing sound when going over speed bumps and an angle or bumps that are uneven for both rear wheels. this sound is also heard when pushing on the side of the box making the truck shake from side to side. you can also hear it when grabbing the top of the tire and agressively shaking it. i just had my truck to the dealer and they re-torqued the leaf spring bolt as per a service bulletin. however the sound is still there. the mechanic said the sound was only the axle floating back and forth. but to me it just doesnt sound like it should be making this sound. i shuck a new truck on the lot and it did not make such sound. any input would be appricated.

you can't get a diag here and if you are not happy with the truck ,take it back ,call the regional service manager ,also take the service manager or shop foreman for a drive to duplicate it for them ,leave the truck with them and say "fix it" !!!!get mad

 

shaking the truck is not the same as driving it,tech is right thats the diff /axles slapping back and forth,don't mention that again.it lessons your credability to them
