40 Gallon Gas Tank installed!

I installed the 40 gallon gas tank on Saturday...here's a picture of the finished product.

Looks good Jeff.  You've done alot with the 'Burb.  It's looking great!  ?.00 to fillit up!  Holy cow!  About how long does that last with the 454?

I really don't drive very much during the week, about 20 miles round trip to work, occasionally a couple miles for lunch, etc.  The 31 gallon tank would go about a week between fillups, but the gas gauge isn't very accurate at the low end, so I was usually only putting 25 gallons or so in.  I expect to get about 400 miles to the tank on highway trips, 300-350 miles around town.

BUT, compared to the payment, insurance, and 15-18 mpg I was getting with my '99 pickup I'm still coming out ahead.

Right?? Please, somebody tell me I'm coming out ahead!!

We'll fuel inject that thing and raise it by 2-3 mpg. ;)
