Cat/o2 Sensor Delete

Anyone know the correct way to do this without throwing codes left and right? I am changing my exhaust to long tubes to dual flowmaster 40's 3" in/out. I want the cats gone. Is there a way to bypass the O2 sensors without the check engine light coming on or my air/fuel ratio being dicked up? And I guess I should mention that my truck is built with the California emissions code, but i no longer live there.

A custom tune from Blackbear or you could buy hptuners or efilive and tune the codes out yourself.

Cap off the connectors after removing the sensors, in the tune turn the sensors off. I've read that you may want to keep the upstream o2 sensors and just turn off the downstream ones. I still have some more research to do on this myself. Good luck.

so would i relocate the upstream ones to my headers or right after. cuz im putting cut outs in
