Engine Light

My check engine light came on. I took it to Auto Zone and they said it must have a block on it, so they couldn't tell me what might be wrong. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what ended up being wrong ?

Welcome aboard. AZ wasn't able to pull any codes? That's a little unusual in my book, never heard of that happening. Maybe someone else has.
