Power/memory/heated Seat Malfunction

Hi

I have an 05 GMC Sierra 3500 SLT 4x4 duramax

If I try to turn on the heated seat, it will work for a couple of minutes, then either cool off with the indicator lights still on, or lights out and heat off. Then they won't work at all. It also causes my power seats/memory to not work either. After about a week, it will work again, but with the same end result. As long as I don't turn on the heated seat, the power/memory function will work OK. Should I suspect the seat module as described in other posts, and if so where would I locate this module? I am also suspecting a harness plug located on the floor behind the seat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
