2004 K1500 Extended Cab Rear Door Air Leak?

I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with possibly the weatherstripping on the rear doors of an extended cab pickup. I have a 2004 1/2 ton silverado. The passenger side door lets SO MUCH air noise in going down the road, its annoying. The drivers side isn't nearly as bad. I'd assume if it is the weatherstripping, the passenger side is worse because it is used more. I have looked around for replacement weatherstripping and it seems to be somewhat hard to come by. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix? I've tried shutting the door softly, as well as slamming it in case the latches had somehow moved a little allowing the door to move more.

No I'm not sure. I just know when the door is shut, I hear very loud air noise coming from the door area. It's not the window or the seal, I checked those. Thought I had read a thread awhile ago where some people had problems with the seals wearing out. But I am unable to find it. If there's an easy fix, I'm willing to try it to save the $70+ they want for weatherstripping for each side.

Most of the time its the little rear windows not sealing. I had one of mine replaced under warranty because of it. There is a person on ebay who sells replacement latches that are .050 shorter and pulls the windows tighter. I ended putting two of these on my truck three years ago, no problems since.

I think the latch grabs (the loops on the top and bottom of the cab that the door latches onto) are adjustable if you need to pull it in tighter.

I had this issue with my 2005 Silverado extended cab. The passenger side window would start "whistling" at any speed above 65mph. I first tried adjusting the upper and lower door latches but that didn't change anything. One day my dad was with me and suspecting the window, I got him to lightly push out on the glass near the latch and sure enough, the sound got worse. I ordered those shorter latches that Don linked above and changed out the passenger side. That fixed it.
