Sealing Tool Box Gap

I have a tool box on my truck and plan on getting an Extang Full Tilt cover and probably an Agri-Cover Total Bed Seal. Problem is there is a gap on either side of the box between the front of the box and the front bed rail. Along the front of the tool box I'm going to use some of the MaxSeal or TrailSeal, I just need ideas for those gaps on either side. I thought of using the MaxSeal but I doubt it would properly seal. I also thought about getting a block of rubber and cutting 2 opposing Vs in it to go against the rail and the tool box but it would be difficult to get a proper seal.

Has anyone done this? If so, I'd like to hear how you did it. Thanks.

I think your best bet would be to get one of those boxes that fits in between the bed rails. I don't know how that would affect the cover's installation or use, but it was the first thing that popped into my head.

I've never liked the tool chests, you can't even put a 6' ladder in there and I don't like drilling holes in the bed of my truck. And I already have the WeatherGuard Cross box which I'm not going to replace since they cost a pretty penny.

Was just hoping someone else had done this and I could use their experience as an example.
