Trouble Code B2aaa

Took the truck out just now. The streets are wet from an all night rain. As soon as I got a little tire spin, the truck started saying Traction Control Off and Stabilitrak Off. It then went into Limp mode. I first disconnected the battery to reset, and took it out again. Same thing happened. As soon as I spun the tires, I got the same messages and it went into Limp Mode. This time I hooked up my Scangauge II and got a code of B2AAA. I was able to clear the code but I cannot find any info on what this code stands for. A lot of other people have gotten the code but nobody that posts knows exactly what it is. Any ideas?

If you google it, it seems a bunch of people have got this code using a scangage. It is not an OBD11 code, No one has figured it out. But you already know that.

Not to dig up an old post, but does anybody have any more info on this code. My dad's CEL came on today in his 2008 GMC Sierra and it had this B2AAA code, I pulled it using my scangauge II. I cleared it and drove around the block and it didn't come back on, so we'll see what happens. If it comes back on I'm going to try a different code reader and see what happens.

Note, he never had any prior issue like the original poster, just the code

I just returned my new ScanGauge II to AutoZone. They didn't 'like it' but they DID refund my $'s. Didn't like it.

I got that same code (B2AAA) which, of course, made no sense to me. She tried to tell me that the ScanGauge sufisticated (wow, spellchecker doesn't catch that one) that it reads the 'GM specific' code... but nowhere can I find what it IS! Seems to mean different things to different folks. (vehicles)

Two orher code readers (cheapone's too) read it as P0672... bad #2 glow Plug. I replaced it, reset the code and it disappeared for good. Prior to replacing the GP, and a reset and it would come right back on.

My truck is an '07 (late model) with the LMM diesel.

I am looking into the same issue and so far I have come up with is that it is a sensor issue with the engine reading that cold air is getting inside, ie the engine isnt warm enough. still doing some more digging as it has been doing this and tried some other things first, battery and plugs, now it may be the ECM or the throttle control sensor. I will check these out and post what changes occur.
