I would like to get a high end scan tool; it seems impossible to find a comparison of them. I'm interested in the Genisys vs Pegisys vs Tech 2 mainly. I've read good things about the Genisys and Pegisys, I've also read that the Pegisys is a pile.

If anyone has used all 3 I'd like to hear about your experiences. If the OTC models do most everything the Tech 2 does, that would be great since I'd like to have a scan tool for multiple vehicles.

I'm not really worried about the module reflashing. Any input would be helpful.

  I own a 2014 Silverado LT std cab, std bed. My only option to replace it is the work truck. I've spent some time on the GM build and price trying to figure out if I can get something I'd be happy with. I think I have. The only 2 things I'm seeing I can't get is remote start and power drivers seat. Looks i can get remote start after market. Any thoughts on this appreciated. Here's a pic of the build from GM's build site.

  The point is the purpose for the range on the dipstick is for expansion of the oil as it gets hot.

  Yea, not the reason. There is a nominal 1 quart/liter range on that stick. (Autos/light trucks) Some small metrics are a 1/2 liter. Gives a fella an idea how much to add. Your book should say something like, "Add when the level falls to the lower mark". Does in every one I've owned.
