2005 6.0 Engine Model

i have just installed a 6.0 vortec from a 2004/2005 silverado to my early 1991 c2500 silverado, how do i find out exactly what model the motor is??

 

what "L" series motor is what i am trying to find out as i want to fit LS1 style manifold with corvettes engine covers instead of the bigger square truck style cover.

The Engine Identification Number is stamped into the rear of the engine block just below the left cylinder head. There's also a barcode sticker next to it.

take the VIN of the doner veh to the dealer ,they will tell you at the parts counter
