Airaid Mit After Tune

First off, I know, I should have added the Airaid MIT before the tune so I wouldn't have any question. But, I didn't, so...question is....Will I need to send my TCM/ECM back to Justin for fine tuning since I just installed my Airaid MIT?

 

By the way, after install, I stepped on the gas just sitting in the parking lot, and I was like....what, that doesn't sound any different. Then when I left work and tromped it......YES! That's the growl I was looking for.

So the truck being under load is what made the difference?? Was the sound coming from the engine??

Ron,I think you should be OK,I know one of the guys that had his truck tuned after you also has a stock air intake,but plans to upgrade also and Justin tuned his for it,but I don't think it makes that big of a difference.

You could also send Justin or Jenna an e-mail and double check with them.

It sure seemed to me like under load made the difference. Maybe I didn't step on it hard enough sitting still????

You won't notice any sound difference just sitting in a parking lot revving it up,Its on acceleration you'll notice it.
