2009 Gmc Sle - Power Wire For Amp - Best Place To Come Through Firewal

I have the 2009 Sierra ETD SLE, no bose, and I want to put an amp in. I would like to come through the passenger side because the battery is on this side.

 

People that have done this install please comment. If you have pictures please post them.

Ill comment lol, ask the people that have done it then Really all you have to do, is see where you can drill either outside or in, and match to under the hood or inside. Find something that maybe coming in/out to match it.

you wouldn't believe the people that will say, well I think you can do it here, or maybe try this and they have no clue.

 

Just like i wanted to remove onstar, there was 5 pages of different ways to do it, and everyone of them was wrong because they didn't have a 2009. You cannot unplug it because the power from it is ran to other things like your traction and parking break. so all you can do is pull the antenna.

On my 08 I went through above left of the brake pedal where the clutch would be. Enough room to drill and grommet.
