When A 2500 Is Not A 2500

Gonna replace the bearing hubs on my '03 Savana van.

In the GM service manual is this statement:

Install the caliper bracket mounting bolts.

Tighten

* Tighten the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts to 175 N·m (121 lb ft) (15 Series).

* Tighten the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts to 300 N·m (221 lb ft) (25 and 35 Series).

I "technically" have the 2500 but it is the 7300 lbs version. Also known as the 6-lug 3/4 ton.

Of course, the 8-lug is the most common 3/4 ton.

From the GM shop tech viewpoint, which torque should I use?

100 lbs is a very large difference.

TIA
