2006 Envoy Has Two Codes

Our 06 Envoy w/ 4.2L threw two codes on Friday. They are P2444 (EVAP Emission Control System Purge Vale C Open) and P2431 (Warm Up Catalyst Below Threashold (Bank 2)). Any ideas on what might be causing these two codes? The car runs fine and there are no indications of reduced fuel mileage, etc. Anybody thrown any of these codes and found what was wrong?

 

I cleared them last night and they where not on this morning.

The first one is probably your gas cap....open it up and put it back on...that should get rid of that code.

 

The second one sounds like the heater element in your bank 2 O2 Sensor is gone. Time for a new O2 Sensor.

If the numbers are correct the descriptions are wrong, those are both numbers for secondary air injection.

Hmmm, the numbers are right and the descriptions are what the book that came with the scanner said. I tried searching online for the code descriptions but I couldn't find anything. Where did you find the descriptions at?

 

What is a possible fix?
