Building a system and need help

I'm just a couple of weeks away from phase one of a moderate system for my 2002 Z71.  Right now I am set on an Alpine CDA-7893 head unit that will run the rear 4x6s off of its own power, and an Alpine V12 MRV-T407 amp to run seperates in the doors.  I already own the amp so that is a set piece.  Where I run into difficulties is the speakers.  I need something pretty efficient for the seperates because my amp is only rated a 40wattsx2 RMS (140wx2 max) at 12v.  I've been told by a lot of people that Alpine underrates there V12 amps so it my be more like 50wx2.  Anyways, I'm looking at the MB Quart DSD 216 components and the Infinity Reference 605CS.  Can anyone give me some information about these speakers?  Also, I was going to replace the factory rears with which ever band of seperates I go with so they will be tonally matched.  Is this a good idea?  Phase two will be a couple of months off and will consist of a JL sub in the JL special truck box with a mono amp from an undecided manufacturer.  If you have a better suggestion for the sub please feel free to throw that in too.  BTW, I can build a MDF box without any trouble (my dad and I own a custom cabinet shop) if I can find a clean sounding sub that does not need a lot of interior volume.  I'm trying to keep as much of my space in the truck as possible.

Thanks,

Kevin

Can't go wrong with DEI studio components, best dollar for dollar set you'll find. but if you are set between those two i would go with the Infinity. ( specs www.infinitysystems.com/caraudio/product.asp?ProdId='REF605CS'&Ser=REF&Cat=COS). i demoed a bunch of mb quarts and was very unhappy with their quality.

for some low air space, very musical subs i plan on going with the Image dynamics IDQ 10s. they need something like .63 cu ft of air space.

I second the DEI's, they sound great with minimal power.  I had MB's in my Altima, and I found the sound to be very metalic, didn't really care for them.  Probably going to go with Boston's in mine.
