Hot Air Out Vent

Sometimes 3 out of 10 times hot air comes out of passenger side vent for 30 minutes or so then goes normal.I have tried to change temperture and turn heater temp off or ac on & off.also happens when just vent on only and no heat or ac on. goes normal in time any ideas?

You may need to do a relearn on the HVAC,

 

It's always worth a shot, doesn't cost anything to try. Remove the HVAC1 fuse in the left fuse panel. Let everything power down for quite a while. Reinstall fuse and turn the key on, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING for 1 minute. Shut the key off, open and close the door and wait another minute or so. Then see what happens. You may have to drive and shut down a number of cycles for it to get back to normal. If that don't work you may need a new actuator.
