GasHog369 Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I have a bull bar on my silverado and wanted to add lights to it. So i did some research and got KC 632 stainless longrange lights I got them hooked up, and they are bright as all hell, but they are way to focused for my liking.... First off , the way i had to mount them was to take apart the "shock mount system" becasue it was 1" to high to point forward... But i did use the 1/4" rubber isolators between the light and bar so its got cushion ... problem now is i cant really adjust or align them right. The beams right now are pointing and hitting the ground about 15-20 feet in front of truck. It does help out a little while driving the backroads but not to the capability of the lights with the way its mounted. So , i was wondering if i would be better off going with the Kc 635 "driving lights" instead... Those look to be same wattage and my guess is the light would not be so perfect of a beam... So, if i would be better off with the driving instead, could i just but different reflectors and bulbs? or is it just the reflector thats different ??? please help, i would like to utilize these on the backroads where my reg headlights dont light it up enough. thanx edit: i just checked out kc's website and it looks like the bulb is the same , so maybe i can just change the reflector to this one and get the driving light pattern that im looking for?????
