New cd changer

I just replaced my old cd changer (Pioneer CDXFM-128 12 Disc FM Modulated Changer), with another Pioneer FM modulated one. It's a CDX-FM677. This one is a 6 disc changer.

The reason I went with this one, is we were looking at getting a cd player for my wifes car (it only has cassette), and was looking at keeping it under $150. I found this at Sears on clearance for $139. So, we're going to put the 12 disc in her car, and I put this one in the truck yesterday. The only real difference is it a 6 disc changer, plus it has controls on the display unit, but also comes with a small, thin remote. Best of all, I was able to fit it in the center console, where the 12 disc wouldn't. The display is mounted in the same location as the old one. I'll try to get some pics of it soon.

Man! That sounds like a good deal! CD changer for less than $150!

Thanks. I felt it was a good deal.

It was a little tricky getting the changer mounted in the center console so that i would be able to remove it fairly easy, and be able to tighten down the 4 bolts that hold the console to the floor. That part took me far longer than anything else, including the removing the old one. As a matter of fact, i just installed it in my wife's car tonight. Still need to mount the display more securely. I ran out of daylight, so it's just laying in the console for now.
