H2 Wheels On My Truck

I got these hummer wheels for $100 with caps & lugs, they are in great shape. I have a question for people that have them on their truck. How did you get the stock H2 caps to go onto the back rims? I was trying to use my stock steel caps but they do not fit either without some major trimming on the edges. It can be done and the grey color will kinda match the H2 wheels good enough to keep em on. Lucky me I also have a set of caps from stock aluminum wheels from an 04 2500HD. So the aluminum chrome caps fit perfect but i had to cut off the studs on the back of the caps so the plastic lugs in the caps will get a bigger bite to keep the caps on. i posted a pic of the studs i cut off. I kinda want to put the grey steel caps on or the H2 caps. Anyhow here are the pics. Oh also i used stock 265/70/17 tires from a dodge truck. No rubbing or issues other than the wheels look like they stick out more in the front. It looks good though and for $100, its even better.

Yep they are 8 lug. I was thinking about getting a set, but got the 17" GMC wheels from a gmt 900 2500. (I had steel wheels originally.) The one guy on here has h2 wheels, w/ the center caps on too. I'll try to find his username.

Yeah I saw he had them on his truck. Instead of a pm I hope he post it on here so we all would know. I didnt see where he said how he got them to fit in any posts but maybe I missed it.

H2 are 8 lug but H3 are different but I forgot the lug pattern and are 16s if I recall

I put them on my truck 2 years ago....I bought cheap aftermarket chrome H2 center caps and a set of grey GM center caps.

For the rear, I used epoxy glue to glue 2 caps back to back and cut a hole in the center to fit the floating axle hub....then glued the chrome cap to the pair....the rear sitck out about an inch but hardly noticeable...
