Bushwacker bed rail caps

 

When I first got my truck, I ordered a set of these with the stake pocket holes already cut out.  After receiving them, I found out the holes in the caps didn't match the ones on the bed.  One side was pretty close, maybe an 1/8 of an inch off, but the other side was over half the width of one of the holes off.  I never actually installed them, but when I layed them on the bed rails, they also didn't seem to fit well.  They also had a brittle feel to them, a real hard plastic.  I ended up returning them and bought the GM bed rail caps.  Very happy with them!  Since returning the Bushwackers, I've heard of a lot of people that have installed them, having problems with them staying on the truck.  Seem that the adhesive tape wasn't strong enough to hold them on.  

 

This was in early 2000, so they may have gotten better with the fit and quality of the tape, but I don't know, so beware.
