Linex Bedliner

I got the Linex bedliner from the Linex shop near where I bought my 2001 Silverado about 6 months ago.  I throw a lot of heavy stuff in the back and it holds up nice.  I paid around $300 for it and they did a REAL GOOD job applying it.  Just thought I would let all know, it is worth the extra $150 to get it.  I have had 4 other trucks with the bolt on bedliners...ALL started to rust where the liner rubs the bed.  If you have any questions, let me know.

I got my Line-X a week ago.  It has held up great (ohh a whole week   ) but I have shown it to 2 other truck owners, both with dropins.  One who has had the dropin for 5 years said: "I'm getting one if those TOMORROW!!"  The one with the new dropin said it looked nice but was too expensive.  I'm betting he'll be looking into it after 3-5 years.

I went out and got my Line-X installed Wednesday June 11,2002.

I had the installation include over the rail option.

In addition I had a pair of Westin Nerf Bars installed at the same time.

Very well done, clean crisp lines on the top rails and a very professional cutin on the tail-gate area of the truck.

Took by the dealer where I had purchased it and the salesman was impressed too.

Total including the install of the Westin Bars was $780.

I had mine installed under the rails on June 26.  It was done in less than 2 hours even at a 109 (but it's a dry heat) degrees out.  Truck was sitting in the parking lot another 3 hours in the sun before I picked it up.  The Line-X set up very well, was not even least bit gooey.  The liner (even though black) was actually cooler to the touch than the metal of the bed sides (pewter).

I forced the dealer to pay for the install along with 500 under invoice + rebates, so it's very easy to say I got my monies worth.  But before the purchase of the truck, I did a little research and would done the Line-X anyways.  I was quoted $315 under the rails $395 over

Got my Line-X bedliner installed July12th.  They did a very neat and professional looking "Over the Rail" job in about 1-1/2 hours.  Paid $375.  The guy who sprayed it tells me that the compound they spray in actually dries in less than 10 seconds after leaving gun nozzle.

Price - $375 (over rail special) Normally $425

Location - Line-X of Metarie (Louisiana)

Overall Rating - 10+

Comments - Highly recommend the Line-X system.  Lifetime Warranty!

:thumb: I too have the Line X liner.  So far so good!  Hauling steel is quiet and it doesn't slide.    To the point.....  I bought 2 Bowtie hitch covers from Wal-Mart.  I had Line X "stick" them to the sides of my bed.  They then sprayed over them when the sprayed my bed.  It looks GREAT!!!  Something trick but yet suttle.  It's all black with a small protruding bowtie. :smash:  Mine is a work horse but I thought you customizers would like to know.  Maybe add your club logo before your bed is sprayed.

I had  drop in liner on my last truck. It was slippery and took up to much space. When I bouthg my 03 2500 HD i told the dealer to get that drop in out of there and have it sprayed with Rhino Liner. He said they did all their spray ins with LineX. The next day I picked up the truck and it looked great. I have loaded everything fron grocery bags to prospecting equipment in it and it has performed  well cleans up easy and has not scratched. By the way I had it installed under the rail (just my prefference). Best of all the stuff in the back doesn't slide all over. I am happy.
