Velet Ride Shackels

Well, do all of the people who have installed Velvet Ride Shackles still think they are worth the money and time spent? I have a '01 Silverado extra-cab. Do they lower the rear an inch or so and is the ride really improved? I can't seem to find them locally in Va. Beach,Va. I'd sure like to touch and feel before I buy!

I installed mine over a year and a half ago. Would definitely do it again. Wow, sorry for the late post....

I have used velvet rides for years on many cars and trucks. My 2002 silverado 4X4 rides just great and it leveled the truck out without cranking the front end up. I am a little older than most of the guys that post here and I love the smooth ride.

I also have velvet ride shackles. Really takes the hard edge off of expansion joints. I love that caddylacky ride.
