Sirius And Iphone Hook Ups For My 2005 Sierra

I recently purchased a 2005 GMC sierra denali. I have done a decent amount of research on this and the more that I read the more I get confused. I want to have sirius in my truck, I believe there is a unit that allows me to use it with the factory controls but I cant seem to fine it. I am also looking to be able to use my iphone to play pandora. I have an fm transmitter for it, but its a pain in the ass and doesnt sound that good, I would like to get the ipod/iphone cable to make it easier.

If someone could help me out with this as well as let me know where the cheapest place to purchase these at I would be greatly appreciative. BTW my truck has the rear dvd player and non-nav headunit, if that matters.

i'm not much help on the factory sirius matter if it doesnt show it on your stock deck.. that might be after 05 but i could be wrong.. I have an aftermarket nav deck in my 05 and they dont have an ipod plug in for them you have to use the auxillary red and white plugs.. walmart has a cord that goes from a headphone jack like on the ipod and splits into the red and white plugs.. I had to do this to make my deck be able to use an ipod.. as for the stock deck I am not sure what plugs are in the back. if you get a new deck most of them have a plug in for the ipod now in the back, mine didnt cause the deck was installed in 2005..

You could always look at a Peripheral PXAMG and a stand alone Sirius unit. In my 07, I have the stand alone unit suction cupped to the front glass with the base hardwired into the truck and runs to the PXAMG. It also has a port to plug in an iPod on it. With the PXAMG you can control the iPod from the radio or steering wheel controls or you can control it from the iPod. The only downside to what you're looking for, is that you can't control the Sirius from the radio or steering wheel controls with this unit. You have to control it directly from the Sirius unit. PM me if you want to chat some more about it or have more questions.
