Finally made it home after our week long trip. Averaged about 15 mpg and I am at 1075 miles on the 2010. Truck rode very good (minus the door rattle I have), especially coming home with the crosswind my old truck would have been all over the road this one drove straight as an arrow.

 

I already hit the do it yourself car wash and sprayed most of this garbage off, tomorrow comes the handwash

 

Oh and here is the bed loaded. Guess I need a long bed next time? Darn baby got to many gifts this yr

Also the silver helps hide the dirt thats for sure

I drive 10 miles and mine looks worse then that, then again the silver does hide a lot! I got a 500 mile trip later this week and the weather here shows snow from now until monday, I dont see a wash coming for a while!

Man I think the state of Ohio pawned off the plows to buy salt. I swear on a quiet night you can hear the salt sizzling away on my truck.

Driver's side? Mine did that on my 09. Was driving me crazy. I didn't do anything, what ever it was fell off or something. It stopped rattling and everything works fine.

You definitely need a long bed, but more so to help make those GINORMOUS Z71 stickers look a little more proportional.

I'm so glad we don't deal with that stuff. No salt, 330 days of sun and 12" of rain per year.

 

We do have a couple early mornings in December when we get frost. I have to use the defroster and warm it up. What an inconvenience!

Both of you guys trucks are clean compared to mine. Mine is all white other than the roof. My tires have white letters and you can't even tell the are there. Mine is really bad. Everytime I am about to wash it, it snows some more and I forget about it. I think it has been a well over a month since I washed it last.
