Dash Interchange

I have 2 trucks one is a 95 gmc sierra 1500 and the other is a 94 gmc sierra 1500 both 4x4 automatic with the 5.7. im using the body of the 94 but i like the dash and doors panels from the 95 better. are the dashes interchangable, i know the door panels are but wasnt sure of the dash. thanks in advance.

Use the entire 95 wiring harness engine & body and the steering column along air bag modules and your good to go.

im using the cab from the 94 since its in alot better shape, and the motor tranny transfercase out of 94 since it has less miles and sounds alot better, but i like the look of the dash,door panels, and steering wheel from the 95 but the 94 has better carpet and seats so im using that stuff, i just wasnt sure if the dash would bolt into the 94 cab without any problems.

seriously though...It should just bolt right in...the structure of the dash, etc. should be identical...88-98

Sometimes its easier than you thought it was.....than you realize you did it wrong :lol::lol::lol::lol:

 

 

i hope so but i know how projects go, theres always 1 more thing to do make it look even better thats gonna add alot more work to it
