2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71 Wiper Arms - Interchangeable Lh And Rh?

Wondering if the passenger and driver wiper arms are both the same on a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. Recently had my windshield replaced and the passenger side arm ended up on the driver side and vice versa. The reason that I know this is that the tab/clip that holds the window washer on the wiper arm was broken off on the passenger side. Given that the broken clip is now on the driver side I am remidned I should change the arm, but it appears that GM has two separate part numbers, one for the left side and one for the right side? Seem to be working fine, just curious.

 

Also, can the wiper arms from an older Tahoe be used, the ones that will bend 90 degrees and keep the arms off of the windshield while the vehicle is parked?

I believe they are the same number. As for earlier year models working, I think some have splines and some do not. I don't know what year the change may have occurred.
