ok so im a big spray on fan BUT my past experience with a Rhino Liner sucked ! kept peeling and bed still got dents all over.. LineX is Ooober expensive im told.. Ive done a dozen or so Herculiner jobs BUT they were all in jeep tubs and i never saw the customer again after that so i duno how it held up.. anybody had any luck with herculiner in an actual bedliner app ?? i kinda dont like the idea of having the bed of my truck black so id like to stick with a brand that offers diff colors.. herc has red avail.

I also considered finding a drop in liner that someone had pulled and putting that in but dont wanna destroy the bed underneath..

I think my Line-X over the rails was under $500, have had it since I bought it back in January 2008. A little fading but it's held up just fine. I had a guy put my tool box, which was strapped to a pallet, in the back of the truck, then he pushed it forward with a fork lift and it didn't touch the liner.

I've had Line-X on my old 99 as well as my 07 and will soon be getting it on my 08. Line-X seems to be the one of choice as more people tend to get that then Rhino. Only issues I ever had were UV fade, but everything fades up at 5280 ft. Even the fade-preventors don't work up here  I paid about $420-440 to have a standard bed sprayed, over the rail.

My Sierra came with a GMC drop in bedliner, but if it didn't I would get the bed sprayed with Line X Xtra. I still may sell the drop in and invest in the Line X.

Line-x clearly blows Rhino away. Buddy of mine had Rhino and liked it, but it looked sloppy to me. My Line-x is fantastic. It is true it is expensive, but to me its worth it. Another case where you get what you pay for. Mine was black over the rail, and I think it ran me somewhere around $580. As far as drop in liners, I have never been happy with them. Had one stolen out of old truck. They really do hog up your bed underneath also. All of the crap you haul gets trapped underneath. Mulch and manure were always the gifts that kept giving when you clean your bed!

I'm pleased with the Line-X that I had put on when I first got the truck.

When I got my truck, I couldn't afford the spray-in, so I got a Pendaliner Skid Resistor drop-in bedliner. The truck shop put thin mat that is some kind of foam so that the bed liner wouldn't slide on the metal. It's been in over 5 years and the mat under the bed liner is still holding up and the bedliner hasn't moved. The bedliner hasn't faded and has held up very well.

Bedrug!

I love my bed rug, i tucked the part that is exposed on his tailgate above under the platic protector on my 2009. It was few srews and pulled up the tape area and put it back down.

I don't haul much nasty crap but I do haul lot of home stuff and firewood. I really like it and it cleans up with a broom or water spray very easly or car wash vacume. I have put dirt and yard stuff in it a few times but i use atrailer for that kinda crap.

I've hauled all kinds of stuff in my bedrug. I love it. I'll admit I throw down a quick tarp but quite frankly I did that with my other bed liners too for ease of cleanup/cleanout. Most of the time, I just run the sweeper on it to keep it clean...

But.. Line-x would be a second choice :dunno:

I will admit, your bedrug is pretty, but how does it hold up when you use your truck, like say...I dunno...A TRUCK?!?!?
