Stupid question but how do I find out what plant my truck was built at?

Its on both the SPID label in the glove box (Theres an RPO code for each of the plants) Example...."FWI" is the Fort Wayne,In. plant.

And its also in the VIN,Its the 11th digit,Example...."Z" is the Fort Wayne,In. assembly plant.

I have sticker too... Mine was built with pride! in Pontiac, MI.

My 99 has a Ft Wayne sticker the shape of the state of Indiana. Coincidentally, my wife is commuting to Ft Wayne until June to help a satellite project along. I may get out there. I wonder if they have tours?

 

The 2008 has a sticker stating it's the product of Canada. That's it. No location other than Canada.

Yep,They give tours at Ft. Wayne.

 

Your '08.....The 1st digit of the VIN should be a "2" this denotes it was built in Canada,The 11th digit should be a "1" this denotes it was built at the Oshawa assembly plant.

The RPO code for the Oshawa plant is "OSG"
