Body Lift?

Okay, I'm new at this site, but I wondering what I should do to my truck. I was thinking about getting a RC 2" Leveling kit & a 3" Body Lift, what type of BL should I get? or is it better to get a suspension lift? I have a '07 Chevy Silverado 1500 Ext Cab LT. Any info. at all would be greatly appreciated.

If all you want is larger tires, then a body lift will do the trick. If you want to run anything above 33" tires, then a suspension lift is what you need

It really all depends on how high you THINK you want to go. The above set up that you mentioned looks nice and in fact it was the first configuration on my truck.

Well thanks Blackout. Umm, Im not gonna get a suspension lift & not going beyond 33's. Just a little bit too much money of all that, kinda on a budget. But anyways what type of BL would be a good one? like what brand or whatever? I'm ordering a K&N Intake System on later today, I don't know if I get the 57 or 63 series, which one would you guys prefer?

I have Zone Offroad. Was going to get BDS but when I called them they said they no longer make bodylifts and sold their design and everything to Zone. So that's what I went with. Both Zone offroad and BDS make pretty much the same design and so far my Zone kit is working amazing.

I have the zone body lift and like it. My set up is the RC 2" leveling kit and the Zone 1.5" body lift. With the 1.5" body lift I was able to redrill my nerf bar brackets 1.5" to match the lift, the exhaust doesn't look out of place so I didn't have to modify that, and the hitch doesn't look out of place with the only 1.5". Most people can't even tell I have a 1.5" body lift.

07blackz71, Quick question for you. I have been thinking about getting the Zone 1.5 BL. I have the N-fabs on my truck. Will I need to do any redrilling on my truck to get them back on or match the lift?

Don't your N'fab bars mount to your body right? If they do you can lift your body with out taking them off and have no issues at all. If they linked to the frame then you will have to modify something.

Alright thanks for all the help so far guys. So pretty much the Zone Off-Road is the best? Why shouldn't I get the 3" one for, mostly everyone is saying 1.5????

I still wanna know what Cold Air Intake system to do? Kinda lost on that one, heard so much about K&N, AEM, & Volant ; ahhh soooo many choices.

No personal experience but I thought I heard that some accessories (including CAIs) need some modification if a body lift is involved. Not sure but maybe someone else can verify.
