4.3 6.0 Swap

I HAVE A 2000 1500 SIERRA SINGLE CAB STEPSIDE BED AND A 2002 2500HD EXTENDED CAB WITH 70K THATS BEEN TOTALLED OUT BUT DRIVE TRAIN IS STILL GOOD .IM GOING TO SWAP THE 4.3 FOR THE 6.0 . ANY INFO YOU MIGHT HAVE ON SWAPING THEM ANY THING YOU HAVE HEARD ABOUT DOING IT LET ME KNOW .IM GOING TO START TEARING THEM APART NEXT WEEK

Its a pretty straight forward swap...but I think you will need the 6.0L pump...the 4.3 uses a lower pressure I believe.

Performancetrucks.net would be an awesome place for you to learn some stuff about this swap...a few guys over there have done it.

 

Make sure you post lots of build pics man....and anything you learn along the way.

Unlike performancetrucks...This forum specializes in that swap. Not to take anything away from performanctrucks though...If I were doing the swap, I'd want as many sites, walkthroughs, and helping hands I could find.
